Here are some Frequently Asked Questions about the Johnson County Christian Lodge.

How do I donate?

The Johnson County Christian Lodge is supported both through the gifts of individuals concerned about our ministry, and the gifts of local churches who see the Johnson County Christian Lodge as a significant home missions ministry and resource center. It is our goal to maintain as low an overhead as possible. There are some very real needs in terms of staff support, equipment, and materials that can only be met by the continual support of concerned individuals and churches. The Johnson County Christian Lodge has no other means of support.

The Johnson County Christian Lodge is a 501 (C)3 non-profit organization and all monetary gifts are tax deductible. Donations may be received at the Johnson County Christian Lodge or monetary support may be mailed to:

When do you plan to have the lodge open?

We plan to have it up and running by December of 2009.

How can I get into the Lodge?

The best way to be admitted to the Lodge is to contact a local church and ask to speak to the pastor or other staff member. They will be able to refer you for residence and provide on-going spiritual support during your stay. If they are not aware of our services tell them to give us a call and we will talk them through the process.

How long can a person stay at the Lodge?

The Johnson County Christian Lodge is set up only for short-term residence. The term "emergency residence" best describes us. Upon admission residents are given 2 weeks to demonstrate that they are diligently searching for housing and employment.  If they are not they are asked to leave.  If they are they are given up to 90 days to find employment and save enough money to pay for rent and utility deposits.
